I just had a dream where I was my age now and I had to wear neckgear, you know - headgear's little brother. Aside from the embarrassment of having to wear it at age 32, what was more vivid was that I could remember exactly how much it hurt to wear that thing, which is odd seeing as that was twenty years ago and I only wore it like a total of 3 times during 6th grade. (Hi, Dr. Baron!)
The dream then shifted gears where I was with Mike and my sister Kate walks in wearing my new sweater all, "la la, la la la" and I'm all, "yeah, I'll be taking that back, thanks", I put it on and almost immediately spill coffee on it. Of course.
The dream shifted yet again where I'm in my old hometown of Vernon for work I think and my one meeting concludes and then have to go to another meeting but I wasn't exactly sure how to get to Vernon Road (which does not exist, by the way) and this lady from the previous meeting says she'll take me there. "Nice," thinks me. She drives me there via some really screwed up way and I'm telling her, "I thought the street was parallel to where we just were". Now she's driving down the wrong way on an off ramp, then now we are walking into a TUNNEL which leads to the bottom of a slide like something out of Goonies or Indiana Jones so I figure this is a dead end seeing as you slide down not up and along each side of this slide is where they keep MUMMIES and OH, almost forgot, hanging on the entrance gate of this "fun ride" is a few casually placed DEAD BODIES. Uh, okaaaay. Then I get a call on my cell phone (surprised I could get reception in a tunnel?? so am I. my carrier is Verizon if you're curious) and it's some lady calling about an audit that is going to happen on one of my accounts and it looks good to go and she was just checking to confirm that my work counterparts were prepared so it all goes smoothly because, let her tell me, it had better due to account's new management's Take No Bullshit line they're toeing. I trying to tell her, "Uh, THIS REALLY ISN'T A GOOD TIME" but instead I'm like, "uh huh....uh huh..yep. Make sure Frank knows this...okay.....yep, ...goodbye!".
Man, I hope this isn't a premonition. Coffee is a BITCH to get out.
This is an off-topic comment, but did you know that the name of your blog is the same as that of my favorite Buffy episode ever (Once More With Feeling)? It's the musical episode, and while I'm not expecting you to wax poetic on the brilliance that was Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I still get the warm fuzzies every time the browser loads your page. Are you sure you're not a closet BtVS fan?

Never really a fan - my old roommate made me watch it a few times. I suppose I'll cop to Spike's hotness and that's about it.
