The thing with sisters whose style and taste in clothing is similar to yours, is that you're always eying what they got on, asking them where they got it, if they got it recently, how much it was, etc.
This weekend, Em was over and had on a sweater I liked. So naturally, after paying her a compliment, I had a few questions for her.
-So Em, is that wool or cotton? (I'm allergic to wool)
- It's wool. Why? ...Jen, you do realize this is maternity, right?

Mike is on a hardcore workout kick (if only I could follow suit). It's rather admirable. Get this, he even goes IN THE MORNING. BEFORE work! Yesterday? He went TWICE. After his second visit, he said he'd done more than his fair share of squats, he advised that he would not be going tomorrow morning but would still be getting up early to "get used to the routine".
And, true to his word, he got up early. I stumbled into the living room to find him watching ESPN.
[n sleepy haze] -Whatcha doin?
-I told you, I was getting up early to get used to it for going to the gym.
-Oh...I thought you were just kidding about that.
That whole "say what you mean/mean what you say" can really be a brain scratcher for me. I mean, "practicing to get up early"? Now, I've heard of some stupid ideas in my time (paying taxes, having to work, etc.) but this is one for the books.
Does Mike get up early to practice for Daylight Savings Time too? (sorry, Mike, not trying to pick on you.)
Good thing you didn't try to borrow Em's shirt -- might have been a little large. :-)

Okay I realize it sounds a litle bizarre, but it's really not. I get up at 6:15, nothing crazy.
I mean Jeremiah has got to be up walking and feeding the pet kingdom by that time.
Oh and trust me if you saw the picture I saw, you'd be getting to the gym as well. Let's just say it was a few pounds ago.

6:15 is cahrayzay. But, the bonus is I get the entire bed, which always rules.
I can't believe Mike posted a comment! And even used PUNCUATION and everything! AWWWWW. tears!

You're blog is all growed up.
Around that time the cats and the dog start chasing each other around the bedroom. Jeremiah either gets up and brings the dog to the beach, or I get up and kick his skinny ass out the back door.
