inGuess who showed up this week?
Let me introduce you to Steve:
"Ah-lo, my darling. You are so beautiful."
(Yeah, I have no idea why Steve here has a Spanish accent but hey, he seems nice.)
Yes, I got the Nikon D80. Admittedly, I am in a little over my head here. There is so much to this camera and I have a LOT to learn.
Like a lot.
Thankfully my friends and family with have NO problem with me shoving this thing up in their faces whenever I feel like it for the sake of my "art". (Right? ... Ri-iiiight?)
I have a book and I have a class next week. Maybe between the two I can learn how to take indoor photos in a mirror not using a flash AND have it in focus. GEEZ, is that too much to ask??
You ...you complete me, Steve.
At last! At long last darling! Welcome to the club!

Green with envy over here...
...but I'd never figure out how to use a camera like that.

thanks guys.
Yeah, I seriously need to be schooled there's just so much to it. Tomorrow I'll be torturing my sister's kids with it. Jess, I'm sure it'll happen for you sooner than later. You can tell people you "model".

You and Steve make quite the fetching couple! Also, you look really cute in these photos-you are working that sweater and scarf!

I'm sooooooo stinkin' jealous.
You look so artsy (emphasis on the) fartsy in the scarf with camera.

I am practicing BLUE STEEL as I type. I can't help it if I'm just really really good-looking.

Zerek zoolander:Well I guess it all started the first time I went through the second grade. I caught my reflection in a spoon while I was eating my cereal, and I remember thinking "wow, you're ridiculously good looking, maybe you could do that for a career."
Matilda: Do what for a career?
DZ: Be professionally good looking."
Hee. right jess? that you?
I wear the scarf indoors b/c I am ALWAYS cold and yes, I realize I am wearing a turtleneck already. I took off my HAT that I was had been wearing while watching TV b/c well THAT just looks stupid.

I want to see the pic with the hat.
Looks like one sweet camera, though I'd never figure out how to use one that complex (EVEN WITH A CLASS.) Don't know why I had to capitalize that sentence.
I like how you are kissing Steve in that last photo. I am sure he was very turned on by the PDA.
