After handing Sarah a bright red, cheapo lollipop - you know, the kind you get at the bank:
"Mmmm, this is a good lollipop. Tastes like blood."
Should I be concerned my niece is showing some vampire-like tendencies? (I mean, not that there's anything wrong with that.)
It's more the fact that she thinks blood is *tasty* that I find disconcerting.

First it's blood, later---tasty, tasty brains.

I think you should be relieved. When Brendan was even younger than Sarah, his response to the bank teller, upon hearing the question "would you like a lollipop?" was "I'd rather have a beer"...I have no idea

Were you at the blood bank?

Maybe she meant fake cherry flavored candy blood. They have that, right?
